I was initially drawn to this book upon seeing its bright and eye catching cover and immediately read the first impression. The cover made it seem that this book would be a fun read. I won a copy of this to review and after reading the first impression I was really looking forward to it. Although the scene setting and character introductions at the beginning are well written, unfortunately I found the story quite slow paced. I loved the character of Millie and found the writing about her antics quite witty in places. The narrative is told from 3 of the main characters’ points of view and although I enjoy books written from different perspectives, I found this a little difficult to follow at times and felt it was a little disjointed in places. The characters were well developed and a good idea of a storyline but could have been quicker moving to make it a little more gripping.
