I was super excited to notice Lynda La Plante's name crop up on here, I have read many of the Jane Tennison novels and have fond memories of watching the original TV series' as a family. I also enjoyed the recent prequel series and subsequently the opportunity to read the first look at Good Friday. Tennison is such a well-written character and La Plante a true master of the thriller genres.
