The author of 'Good Friday' is very talented. I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this book however I were captured into the story, became an advocate for the main character and found it a very easy and quick read.

Having never read a fiction book about the IRA, bombs or the pick pocketing police squad, it were very interesting and gripping. I felt the main character was relatable in terms of her housemate and male interests. There were several tense moments in the book.

I really like the cover of the book, I feel like it is suitable for the story and very eye catching. The format of the book and the chapter sizes made the book an easy and enjoyable read, I will definitely be recommending this book to friends and family.
