I couldn't turn the pages fast enough!
This third instalment of the Tennison pre-requel series is the best so far.
The book delves more into the character of Jane and what motivates her. We gain a more detailed insight into her deepest thoughts and desires and see her vulnerable side in a way that is realistic and moving whilst still portraying her as a strong and determined young lady.
The plot is steady to begin with but soon picks up the pace and by half way through I couldn't turn the pages quick enough. I lost half a day immersed into this story as I felt my heart racing and an eagerness to know how the story would end.
I thoroughly recommend this book which I had on pre-order. I'm already looking forward to the fourth book in this series, Murder Mile which I will preorder too.
