I would give this a 2 and a half if possible as although I enjoyed the book I did have a few issues with it. The beginning was incredibly fast paced and seemed to have issues for the main character constantly to the point it was a bit melodramatic and unnecessary. I didn't feel like there was much character development and they just fell a bit flat to me. The writing was simple which made it easy to read but sometimes felt a bit patronising and seemed to constantly use female and police stereotypes. There were parts which were repetitive and I found the story line to be quite obvious. The conversations didn't flow well either. I think that the book had a lot of potential but didn't live up to my standards. I would have liked a bit more from the story and the characters.
