First of all, it goes without saying that I genuinely think Lynda La Plante is an incredible writer. She’s got the knack to grip up, drag us along and make us want to work it all out. However, I am a completely wimp when it comes to anything terrorist related. It’s the thing that gives me nightmares. That unfortunately, made it a difficult read for me and one that I couldn’t finish.
That being said, I love her, I love her writing style. She’s one of the queens of thriller isn’t she, let’s face it! This book is just as good as her others. I really need to make sure I branch out and read them all because she really is a phenomenal writer.
A must for any La Plante fan but if you’re a scaredy cat like me and don’t like anything to do with bombs, avoid. If you’re not, then I wish you happy reading!
