I like the writing style and how the book hooks the reader in almost immediately. I found it easy to get attracted to the main character (Jane) and couldn't help but feel sorry for all the things she went through. The book sucks me in, making me feel like a part of the whole shebang. I'm not the biggest fan of books written in third person - but I'll make an exception for this one.
I wasn't too keen on the book at the start, but I did get into it further in.
The book cover seems quite dull and I do believe it could be made slightly more interesting and eye catching at first glance, but other than that it's readable. I loved the fact that terrorism was the theme of the book as you don't get that very often.

This was my first book by Lynda La Plante but certainly won't be the last!
