Well anyone who reads this knows exactly what they're getting......Lynda La Plante has a huge following, and the Tennison character is so well loved.....I doubt anyone could pick this up without having even the slightest flas recognition at those names.
And this doesn't fail to deliver......a solid thriller set at the height of the Troubles and bombing campaigns on the mainland, and the attention to detail is second to none.
There's no great surprises here....you know what to expect and this book does deliver......fans of both La Plante and the Prime Suspect novels and TV series won't be disappointed.
