I use to really like lynda la plante, however, after while i feel all her books are the same. There is a woman who does not seem to get the same respect as the men. The one man is highly thought off by his peers and everyone looks up to him. Just to make the female seem even less powerless she finds this male attractive. OF COURSE SHE DOES!!!!!!
At page 20 I already hate this woman and don't want to read any more of the book. It may have a really good plot and even have a great ending, however, when a female character starts out like this I can not face reading it.
The one good thing i found about this book was the different way people can pick a pocket. This part was really interesting
