The pictures of Henry and Grace's relationship completely draw you in regardless of the tragedy you know will occur, their playfulness and the way Henrys love for Grace is shown is heart breaking. I'm a massive sap so his thoughts about getting to her asap before the accident kept me incredibly engaged.
The writing style is consistent and easy to follow, even through the depictions of Grace's grief. The humorous interactions between her parents brought a smile to my face while reading and definitely provided some much needed comic relief.
My absolute favourite part was the flashback scene of Grace describing one of their first meetings, the writing meant that you could practically feel Grace's laughter, through the perfect description of being so humoured by a situation you can barely breathe. This also massively contributed to the reader's understanding of what Grace has lost and I cannot wait to read more!
