From the very start we know that the theme of the book is coping with life after the death of a loved one. Grace and Henry are two young people with everything to look forward to when he is killed while cycling. The writer shows a real understanding of the stages of grief. As the story progresses Grace reaches acceptance and is able to move forward with her life. Moving on from feelings of guilt at still finding enjoyment in life is perhaps the hardest part of all Henry's mother finds it very difficult to accept her son's death. There are several twists in the story. When Grace meets Andy her life becomes even more confused. I really enjoyed reading this book. Very hard to put down. The style was good and easy to read.
