I'm immediately drawn into this novel by its friendly conversational tone. I found Abi's description of herself is endearing and she automatically becomes a character I think I could come to love... she seals the deal when she wonders whether getting on the smallest plane she has ever seen in her life is such a grand idea. She has had me giggling to myself already! I for one can't wait to see what the rest of the trip has in store for her... what is the truth about the guidebook? And what on earth did that note 'You missed three. Now what? mean?
I am also am a sucker for an author endorsement and Marian Keyes is one of my absolute favourite authors and if she deems it 'an instant classic' I want to devour it immediately.
