Gosh, this is intriguing (the concept and the writing style) but also rather strange. It's full of odd details, like the two men sitting either side of a road pointing at the sky that made me think of Waiting for Godot. I'm unsure if the author could sustain that for the whole book or, even if they can, whether it would become merely confusing and frustrating. I'd probably want to see what other readers make of it.
