I found the book to be slow to get into which made it hard to finish. The concept of the novel was good it follows character Abi who loses her brother at 16 and then shows her story years on. Abi starts to receive chapters from a mysterious self help book. I feel like I didn't have the connection with the main character as I have only experienced small loss in my life which im very lucky for. So, this was one of the main reason it didn't get a higher rating due to my enjoyment of it. However, i felt the plot flowed really well and was easy to follow which i love in a good book. My pet peeve with a good book is a plot twists and i didn't feel that in this novel. The book was very moving and heartfelt though which made me rate it higher. The end was a nice end to the story which made it more enjoyable. I would recommend the book to people as it is an easy read which can be followed easily.
