Written in a very flowing and easy style, I found this book difficult to put down. The humorous and yet strangely honest way the narrator tells her story is beautifully written. As the reader you take the journey at the same time as the narrator, with the details being made clear to both Abigail and yourself at the exact same moment. Engrossing from the very beginning, with the intrigue of why Abigail has the invitation to the island retreat and also why she was chosen to receive the chapters.
A beautifully written book with an almost childlike quality to the reading makes it a fantastic easy read, perfect for reading on holiday around the pool, although it is so good wherever you read it you won't be able to stop till the end.
