I bought this book as I was intrigued by the blurb and was not successful in receiving a free copy. Gravity is the Thing was not what I expected. I thought the story would be about Abigail and her brother Robert and how she coped over the years with his disappearance. I was also hoping that the letters she receives were from Robert, however (spoiler alert) this is not the case. Instead the reader is taken on a weird and wonderful journey, where complete strangers come together to find out who has been sending them letters over the years. This is a very quirky read and did not end in the way I thought it would. I felt that Abigail's life had been defined by her brother's disappearance and the outcome I felt was disappointing. However the book stayed with me for some time and I am glad that I bought it.
