Not for me
I was so excited to have won a copy of this book to review.
The blurb sounded really interesting.
The cover is beautiful with its pastel blue cover and yellow paper oragami birds.
Sadly it’s taken me a little while tjj ok review though as I was finding it hard to get into even though the writing starts well there was something that wasn’t holding me.
However I have tried again recently and finished the book now but sadly I didn’t engage with it as much as I would have liked to.
Abi goes through some very heartbreaking times and you can’t help but feel sorry for her (What normal human wouldn’t?) but I feel there was not much keeping you hooked to want to read more in between that.
I found myself constantly wondering how many pages was left.
