Sometimes books will walk you by the hand from the very beginning, into the middle and our the end and you ask very few questions because it’s extremely linear. The author carries you step by step through it. Other time’s, the author assumes you were in his mind while the story was conceived and therefore hits the ground running. This can either be a good or a bad thing and while I was really reluctant to give this a go, I find my intrigued peaked. I can’t see me going out of my way to buy this but it could easily be a hidden gem and I’m not put off at all!
