When reading the first look, I instantly warmed to the protagonist, as he seemed such a likeable character. However, I am not a fan of the cold war and spy stories and there seems to be rather a glut of them at the moment. Not a book that I would necessarily pick up to read, however if I did read it I may be pleasantly surprised.
