This isn't typically a book I would be drawn to. Not only do I not find the cover overly appealing but the blurb isn't the sort of book that would suck me in. Maybe it's a time-related thing; and me not being able to enjoy something written in the 60s, but I wasn't pulled in on the first-look basis.
However, they say never judge a book by its cover! From what I've read, this could be incredibly intriguing. The narrative is written nicely and it definitely throws you into the deep end without being too dramatic early on.
I am reluctant to give it more than 3 stars, though, as I am unsure where the story will go...
