So having read the first part of the synopsis I thought this would be a comedy about an inept smuggler. But no.
I haven't read any of the other books in the series but having finished the blurb in full I do want to know more about Joe Wilderness and his spying activities.
I find this period of history fascinating and am eager to read more about it.
