Having read other novels by John Lawton I couldn't wait for my copy of this book to come through the door. Always set with a spy them this is set in the sixties, the years of swinging london, and the freedom people experienced. Almost James bond esc this book has espionage, thrills and spills and at times even some laugh out loud moments as the author gets every detail spot on. From background information, to full blown descriptions of the characters, you, the reader, are placed in the wonderful situation of almost being in the story and can therefore empathize with the people in the pages and in some instances your heart almost stops as you read this thriller. Be warned, this is not a book you can easily put down....and although anyone can read the back cover to find out more, believe me, this book goes a lot further to keep you engaged in it....but I am not one to spoil anyone's enjoyment and tell you the whole tale
