I was really looking forward to reading Hammer to Fall, but i really really struggled getting into the story. I made myself read at least half way through to see if the story picked up any interest but it didn't. The plot didn't really feel like it was going anywhere and i didn't like any of the character enough to even care.
I get annoyed with myself when i give up on a book that i dont finish but i had no choice with this one.
The story didn't have me gripped or flow and it lost my interest completely.
I would be willing to try another of John Lawton's books in the future but it would have to be a different subject and story. I dont think i could read any more from this particular series.
