I started this book and struggled to get through the first page as it felt as though you were dropped into the novel half way through.
Reading the first couple of chapters of this book I struggled to understand what was going on in parts and who was who as there was no real description of character or how they fit with the others. This may be hindered by the writing style.
The first couple of lines of the first chapter also are written in Russian which I get for authenticity but it disrupts the flow of the book and it makes it more difficult to get into the story.
In my opinion this book would be good for those who enjoy reading about espionage or the Cold War. May need persevering with though.
