I was lucky enough to receive a free hardback copy of this book in exchange for a honest review based on the first impression that i wrote. I have a lot of books on my to read list so I passed this onto my boyfriend to review for me as it seemed to be his cup of tea and usual go to genre based on the cover, blurb and first impression.
Overall my boyfriend enjoyed the book. He didn’t find it particularly gripping or full of thrills but it did keep him interested throughout and held his attention. He did say that he preferred the first half of the book to the second half and he was a little bit underwhelmed with the ending but all in all he found it fairly enjoyable and would recommend it to others.
