So I was interested in reading this book as I really enjoy historical fiction. I especially wanted to read this as the 1960s isn’t a time I’ve read about before but heard stories from my mum who grew up then.
However although I read a lot of thrillers, I don’t usually read spy thrillers like this so I’m surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
I hadn’t realised there were books before this one which I may now read so I didn’t know anything about Joe Wilderness but I still enjoyed it as a stand alone read.
After causing some trouble (he’s known for going rogue!) Joe ends up in Finland where he soon becomes Involved in mysteries and secrets. It’s interesting throughout. It’s certainly well worth a read.
