I think the cover of the book is beautiful it depicts a new age yet historical rich and prevalent character. From the blurb i can already tell the events within the book can relate to society today such as policies against the wearing of the hijab in France and the banning of Hilal meat, both of which are essential parts of islam. This story would be a great form of escapism for young girls out there looking for a beacon of hope in these harsh times. And i would love to read this book simply to discover and really appreciate the perspective of a young muslim girl finding herself in this ever changing society.
