A unique book bursting with culture and awareness!

Hana Khan is a unique and charming woman, as a south asian muslim myself, i realised i have a lot to relate with Hana. She is very self aware and this book brought up topics that are not talked about enough such as identity issues, being marginalised and the pressure that being a second-generation includes. In addition to this, having such diverse character within this book feels refreshing with all the delicious food and culture that comes with it. As i read through this book, i immediately fell in love with Hana and her personality especially her witty conversations with Stanley, i want to get to know her better as she feels like that friend that always has wise advice ready to be shared whenever you need her.
