The biggest thing that jumped out at me when reading the premise and first impression of this novel was the amazing uniqueness it contains. For starters, there is a serious lack of diversity and representation within the characters of books and authors. I love that this would give me a character perspective that I have been unable to explore before. I also absolutely loved the modern technology that Uzma Jalaluddin added into the narrative of Hanna’s life. I couldn’t get enough of the sections involving direct phone messages and comments on her podcast! I’d love to know more about Hana’s story, her family, the rival family and the podcast supporter!
