I enjoyed these first few chapters. If the blurb hadn’t given the gist of the plot away, it wouldn’t have been difficult to guess. But I don’t think that matters. The scene is very well set and it’s going to be interesting to see how a familiar trope plays out in this community.I love Biriani dishes and I’ve always wanted to try poutine...clearly this is my chance ...to try the literary version anyway!
