I'm going to take a wild guess and say Aydin, the young owner of the rival business, is actually the anonymous podcast listener, StanleyP who gives advice, purely based on the blurb. From the first few pages, it mentions StanleyP has a new venture and business 'complications.' I hope my theory is wrong because he is not a nice person in the restaurant opening few chapters.
