As soon as I read the first couple of chapters I was intrigued and really want to know what happens next!
I particularly like the messages between StanleyP and AnaBGR (also known as Hana Khan and Ana Brown Girl Rambles on her podcast). They reveal a relationship via social media but who is StanleyP in real life and will they meet?
Hana has two jobs, one as an intern at a local radio station and the other working at a restaurant. I like the warmth of the family-run restaurant The Three Sisters Biryani Poutine. When the restaurant is visited by two men, a father and son, Hana is less than impressed with their behaviour, treating her like she's 'just' a waitress, making fun of cleanliness but the delicious food prepared by her mother and her two sisters impresses them. She learns the son's name is Aydin and from how the part I read ended, I feel he will be making another appearance!
Hana is not a stereotype and that's what I like most about this book. As such, it would be lovely to find out what life has in store for her... and maybe StanleyP!
