Although I'm not the target demographic for this (it reads like a YA book) it was interesting and I found myself wanting to know more about Hana and her family, and to find out if she opens up to Stanley. I think part of the reason for my interest is that the first impressions makes me think that the story may tackle where our sense of belonging comes from and how we make our own roots/history if we are apart from our wider heritage - and that's an intriguing topic
