Although I admired the engaging, humorous writing style, the rom-com nature of the story doesn't appeal and I feel that I can already predict the direction the story is likely to take. I enjoy reading about cultural differences and the experiences of second generation immigrants, but I think it unlikely that this story would do much to increase my understanding.
