As a huge fan of everything Jane Austen and a devotee of You've Got Mail (and every other Meg Ryan rom-com) I was incredibly excited to read this. My one issue with the aforementioned works is as an Asian woman, there is little to no representation of my culture in them. The first three Chapters cover eloquently the second generation immigrant experience, and set up the romance plot line very convincingly. I finished the excerpt reluctantly and really want to read more!
