I also really like the fact that it has an element of ethnic diversity in the theme with the mention of hate crime - I love to read about other cultures and how everyone fits in within society today.
I would love to read this book - it seems like it would be a breath of fresh air in current times and may even teach me a thing or two about other cultures. I know nothing about halal but am always open to learning.
Also what happens with the restaurants - do they both survive? And will they make a go of there love affair. I would love to find out.
