I found the First Impression so easy to read and wanted to continue when I came to the end. Like in her first book, the protagonist is a funny, feisty character and I love reading about her family, work and community. The cover tells the reader that she is caught between two worlds - the hijab for traditional and the headphones for modern. I will definitely be reading this book when it is published - if not before?
