Well Paced as Well as Refreshing
I don't think I've read many book with Canadian protagonists, so I appreciated reading something a little different. I also liked how the protagonist is in her 20's and owns a podcast. This is quite refreshing and this makes me want to find out what it's like to own a podcast.
I'd like to read more because I enjoyed the irresistible descriptions of food, for example, biryani. I feel like looking up those recipes almost immediately so that I can make them at home. I thought the banter between Hana and Stanley was fascinating as well and wonder what their future conversations will be like.
Lastly, I like how pretty the cover is: the brown girl with the leopard print hijab and her hot pink headphones! It looks really cute and artsy.
