A wonderful enemies to lovers story. As a fan of the romance genre, I enjoyed Hana's story (even if it was a tad predictable!) - Hana was a fantastic narrator, she was very relatable, and I enjoyed the narrative style, switching between her podcast, messages with StanleyP and the first-person narration itself. The story was fun, engaging, and it was fantastic to have a hijab-wearing Muslim as the main character. The book shows her strength while also providing insight into her religious and familial identity.

Ultimately this is a love story that feels honest and true, without too much melodrama. This is the first story I have read by Uzma Jalaluddin, and I know I'll be looking out for more of her work in the future.

On another note, I think the North American version of the cover looks much more appealing than the UK version, but obviously this didn't hinder my enjoyment of the book itself!
