I really enjoyed the book. Firstly, I liked the book cover, with bright colours. Secondly, the written style was very nice and easy to follow. The reading happened effortlessly and it is lovely to get to know a different culture and support our different backgrounds. The author touches on critical subjects such as discrimination and religion in a light way that gets you involved in the story. It makes you think about the actions of the people and wondering why there is so much hate in this world. Apart from those subjects, the story involves a sweet love story and family secrets, which is told via podcast.
Hana is a lovely character, as well as her mother and aunty, who are strong female characters showing one side of this culture that I don't know much about.
Definitely recommend this book. It is an easy read and gives you some insights into the Muslim culture.
