I overall really enjoyed this book and the story. I found the style of writing to be very accessible and easy to follow. I enjoyed that we were given snippets of Hana's podcast and text conversations rather than just being told about these things as it made them much more real. While I did anticipate most of the plot I did find that there were a few reveals throughout that I had not predicted. This made reading it very enjoyable as it has a light easily consumable read but also had some elements of suspense that kept me wanting to read more. The characters I thought were very well developed and I liked that they were all flawed in some way and that our main characters throughout the book were able to see and work on their own flaws but also to be able to accept the flaws of others. Hana for example comes to regret some of her earlier actions and works to resolve these. She also understands the difficulties facing her friends and family and why this has made them behave the way that they have. Overall I really enjoyed this story and would definitely pick up more books by Uzma Jalaluddin in the future!
