This is a book with romance, religion and real world experiences. What’s really likeable about it straight away is the writing style, it's so fun and easy to keep up with. The highlight of the book is following how the main character as she goes through real experiences, south asian muslim women experience. As a South Asian Muslim woman myself, this was so fun and relatable. I also love the structure of showing the podcast and the chats between her and her friends.
The characters are super relatable and I love the main character's passion for what she talks about in her podcasts. It’s interesting to read about the different characters. The main characters relationship with her parents, shed light on the difficulties of communication with your family when there is a language barrier present and getting your point across. I love the way that was shown.
