I loved the chapters. Since the blurb mentioned "You've got mail" and in the beginning chapter the protagnist is interacting with an unknown listener we can guess about how the story will pan out.
I really loved the character of Hana and the voice that drives the story. It is strong and and the wit and humour makes it an enjoyable read.
Yet another intriguing factor is that though it is set in Canada, it would resonate with South Asians all over the world. It could be any South Asian street. But more importantly the story is unravelling well, and therein I suppose, lies its appeal.
I have an idea of how the plot is going to progress, but I am curious to see is how will it pan out in a South Asian setting. Very very interested to see how Hana will react when she meets the listener in real life. Will her meet her aspirations or be a disappointment? or whether circumstances will stop them from getting together.
I would love to read more and find out for myself!
