I've definitely never read a book quite like 'Hana Kahn carries on', but I thoroughly enjoyed it! The front cover is beautifully colourful and eye-catching and the premise sounded really typical, yet different, for a modern day love story. Hana's character is relatable and likeable, and I loved following her throughout the book.

The inclusion of the messenger chats with Hana's secret admirer (Stanley) added an extra depth to the book, and I found this a good way to integrate the 2 characters. However, I did find the plot a bit predictable from quite early on - this didn't stop it being enjoyable to read! I found the incorporation of Muslim traditions and values really interesting and insightful (as a non-Muslim), and it was great to have a hijab-wearing Muslim as the main character.

I would definitely recommend this book to others, especially those who love a typical rom-com! It was really easy to read, and I am now interested in pursuing Uzma's first novel.
