i was soooo excited for this book and i was not let down at all!!! i am so excited to see more representation in books especially this one as the main characters were all Muslim. i love seeing myself represented in books as it makes them more relatable and enjoyable.
the plot was so cute. i loved the rivals to lovers story line between Hana and Aydin - they were sooooooo adorable. i dont always love the love stories in books in young adult but i absolutely loved these two.
the writing was good. it was not anything special but still enjoyable and i like the author's style. i will definitely pick up her other book Ayesha at last especially as it is a pride and prejudice retelling!!!
at times the main character was annoying and she made a lot of mistakes but that shows she is human!!! not just a character thats perfect with no flaws so i really liked that.
