Very realistic!
Coming from a South Asian Muslim, this book is very intriguing. The first few chapters are quite fast paced and you get a good idea of the plot and the main characters!
I like the main character. She seems like a strong protagonist. I also really like the family dynamics, as its super realistic to a South Asian family!
I imagine stereotypes and racism will play a big part in the book. I don't think I've read a book where part of it is like a podcast as well! Normally you get email extracts, etc.
The writing style seems like it is aimed at a younger audience, but still good enough for me to want to keep going and read further. It's easy to follow and get to grips, to be honest i would want to buy this! Will be borrowing it from the library first!
Its very difficult to get good representation for muslims, especially South Asian so this feels like one i should have read when i was younger.
