I love the main character. She epitomises the average girl from a family with a strong cultural background whilst simultaneously incorporating aspects of her western life (like with her podcast). I really like that this alternative form of media has been talked about in the book, as it makes the Hana relatable.

I am excited to read further because the book I am heavily invested in how the relationship between the characters will develop, but also because I want to see her thrive, as she wonderfully represents so many young Muslim women living in the western world. I don't think I will be able to put the book down.

The personas are entertaining and it is refreshing to see the exploration of more diverse characters within the book-world. I am happy to feel represented in young adult fiction and hope to read about more of the author's wonderful characters in her upcoming works!
