I'm loving the first person narrative in this novel; the 'Grump' talking about his childhood and other memories growing up, as well as his current busy life. Although I've found parts in the first chapters 'laugh out loud' funny, it's also tinged with a longing and sadness. The writing flows beautifully. Definitely a book I will enjoy!
