I was drawn by the cover as it seems humorous and intriguing, I would definitely pick it off a shelf which is good because I don't tend to read the blurb of a book. The sample to read makes you want to read more because although a supposed 'grump' , the main character is clearly caring and endearing. Also the box of photos is of course a great hook that everyone can relate too, who hasn't lost time reliving the past in a box of photos! I can't wait to read the rest.
