Who would want to have fat-free milk in exchange for an extra two years of life?
In all honesty I'm not sure this book has a great deal of appeal for me. The title and cover intrigued me, leading me to read this excerpt. It seems to be well written and the character did grow on me the more that I read. However, I also found it quite boring as the character explained every single thing that he did that day and why, and I found the pace to be quite slow. Although it may not appeal to myself I'm sure that for some people it will be thoroughly enjoyable.
One line did stand out, however, about living longer if he swapped to fat-free milk. I say stick with your full-fat if it makes you happy:
